2018 Minor League Softball Highlights

           The Scorpions defeated the Falcons 9-3 to win the 2018 Minor League Softball Championship.  For the Scorpions,  Karli Conder had a triple and Kerrigan Bowles had a base hit.  For the falcons,  Sophia Lay and Natalie Pedigo had base hits.

                   The Scorpions scored five times in the fifth inning as they defeated the Warriors 12-9.  For the scorpions,  Karli Conder had three hits. Ava Jarrell and Callie Richards each had a double.  Kerrigan Bowles had a base hit.  For the Warriors, Sydney baker had a double.  Ava Arterburn and Bekah townsend  had base hits,

                  The Scorpions topped the Mavericks by a score of 13-10.   For the Scorpions, Audrey Doyon had a homerun.

                  A three hour marathon that went eight innings as the Falcons topped the Warriors 17-16.  For the Falcons, Cara  Charlotte Marcum had two hits. Sophia Lay, Cara Carpenter, Alison Withrow each had a double.  Hannah Ely had a double and a single.  Ella Regenhold had a double and two singles,  Gabriel Quinones had three hits.   Natalie Pedigo was the winning pitcher.  For the Warriors,  ava Arterburn had two hits. Kennedy Dennison,Sydney baker and Bailey Robison had base hits..

                  The Warriors scored five times in the sixth inning to beat the Falcons 12-9.  For the Warriors,  Ava Arterburn had three hits.  Addie Smith had a base hit. ,For the Falcons, Sydney Wirth and  Sophia Lay had three hits. Natalie Pedigo and Erin Carpenter had two hits.  Hannah Ely and Gabby  Quinones had a base hit.

                  The Scorpions handed the Mavericks a 11-1 loss.  For the Scorpions, Karli Conder  hit a two run homerun over the rightfield fence i n the first inning.  Kerrigan Bowles and Callie Richards had base hits.  For the Mavericks, Lauren Young and Olivia Priest had base hits.

                 the ring pops scored five runs in the fourth and sixth inning to beat the Falcons 13-3.  For the Ring Pops,  Hopper had a triple.  Huber had a double. For the Falcons, Sydney Wirth had a base hit.

                 The Warriors finished the sweep of the doubleheader with a 11-9 win over Nelson County.  For the Warriors,  Addie Smith had a triple and two singles. Kailyn Claybern had three hits Audrey Brown and Kennedy Dennison had base hits.

                 The  warriors defeated Nelson County  20-8.  For the Warriors,  Madison Stough had  a homerun. Addie Smith and Sydney Baker each had a double and a single.  Madison Horvath each had two hits.  Carlee Clark had a base hit.

 The Falcons edged the Scorpions for a 8-7 win.  For the Falcons, Ellen Regenhold, Hannah Ely and Natalie Pedigo had base hits.  For the Scorpions, Sodie Spencer had a base hit.

                 The Warriors  knocked off the  Mavericks by a score of 13-8.  For the Warriors, Madison Stough had two hits. Madison Horvath,  Kennedy Dennison, Sydney Baker and Ava Arterburn had base hits.  for the mavericks, Lauren Young had a base hit.

                 The Warriors Aubrey Brown knocked in the game winning run as the  Warriors scored three times in the fourth inning to beat the Mavericks 16-15.  For the Warriors,  Madison Stough had a double.  Sydney Baker had two hits.    For the Mavericks, Lauren Young(3) and  Jamie Snyder(2) had base hits.

                 The Falcons defeated the Mavericks in a lightning shortened game.  For the Falcons,  Hannah Ely had a triple and a single.  Erin Carpenter had a base hit.

                  A five run sixth inning sealed the game for the Red as they won 9-3. For the Red, Kaylee Fitzner and Alina Kilfoile had doubles.  Margaret Hopper had two hits.For the Scorpions,  Karli Conder had a a double.  Maggie Hale had a base hit.

                  The Scorpions scored five runs in two different innings as they defeated the  Warriors 14-5.  For the Scorpions,  Karli Conder and Erica Hester  combined for 12 strikeouts.   Karli Conder had three hits and five Rbi's.   For the Warriors,  Kennedy Dennison and Addie Smith had base hits.  Kennedy Dennison had 7 strikeouts .

                 The Falcons knocked off the Mavericks by a score of 14-3.  For the Falcons, Allison Withrow(2), Sydney Wirth, Brylie Mockbee, and Erin Carpenter had doubles.   For the Mavericks,  Kara Crutcher and Katelyn Diehlman had two hits each.

                The Ringpops blanked the Warriors 16-0.   For the Ringpops,   Maggie Hopper and Haylee Fitzner combined on the shutout getting  13 Strikeouts.  Ann Huber added a double.

                The Scorpions scored in every inning to beat the Mavericks 20-7.  For the Scorpions, Olivia Preist had a double. .Gracie Robertson  had two hits. For the Scorpions, Karlie Conder had a double and single.  Maggie Hale had a base hit

                The Mavericks scored five runs in the fourth and fifth inning as they beat th Warriors 12-5.  For the Mavericks, Jamie Snyder had a single and scored three times   Kadie Bosemer and Kara Crutcher combined for 9 strikeouts.  For the Warriors,  Madison Horvath, Madison Stough, Addie Smith had doubles.  Kennedy Denison had seven strikeouts.
