The all-star season came to and at the state baseball tournament in Corbin as North Oldham 11's & 12's both fell in the championship game. For the 12's, North Oldham lost to Bowling Green East 1-0 as Bowling Green East scored a unearned run in the top of the fifth inning. Casey Mais and Brady Noe had base hits . Nathan Hoffman pitched one of the best game you could ask for allowing just two hits but we couldn’t get any runs across the plate for him.. 
    For the 11's their outcome was the same as they lost to Eastern 3-0 in their championship game. For North Oldham, Kairo Ball, Seth Roberts and Cooper Potts had base hits. 
    All three teams were State Runner-Ups and represented North Oldham Little League well.
 

7/24/24

 With good weather most of the day Wednesday, North Oldham All-Stars took to the field at state tournament as 11's & 12's both won their games in the Semi-Finals and advance to the championship game tomorrow.  The 10's fell to Morehead in their championship game as their all-star season game to a close.        
    The 11's jumped out to an early 4-0 in the first inning over Corbin and held off a late rally to win 8-7 and advance to the championship game against Eastern on Thursday at at 5:30pm.  For North Oldham, Evan Fisher had a triple and a double among his three hits.     Walker Bradley had a double and a single.Levi Moore, Cruz Simpson(2), Seth Roberts,Luke Jacobson and Lucas Saucier had base hits.  Levi Moore pitched five plus innings in getting the win.
    The 12's broke open a 3-2 ball game scoring five times in the top of the sixth inning to beat Paintsville 8-2 and advanced to championship game against Bowling Green East on Thursday at 2:00pm.  For North Oldham, Nathan Hoffman had a double and a single. Booby Turley had two run double in the sixth inning. Dawson Burckardt(2), Jackson Edgar(2)and Brady Noe had base hits. Brady Noe picked up the win with 4 plus innings of work allowing two runs and three hits and getting 8 strikeouts.  Max West came on in relief to close the game with two shutout innings. Dawson Burckardt caught a line drive at third and doubled up the runner for the
final out of the game.
    The 10's season came to end as couldn’t overcome four run first inning by Morehead losing 6-4 in the 10 Year old Championship.  For North Oldham,Wyatt Burckardt, Corbin Phillips and Henry Baker each had a double and a single.. Owen Turley, Wyatt Husband and  Ethan Hodges(2) had base hits. Thank you to all the players, coaches, families and the community for your time, your hard work and your support that you have given to this team.  Thank you  Mike Caudill excellent job. Everyone has represented North Oldham Little League well.

Despite some more rain on Tuesday, North Oldham Baseball All-Stars went 3-0 at the State Tournament in Corbin. 
    The 10's took on Owensboro Southern in the Semi-Finals and won 4-2 to advance to the championship game on Wednesday against Morehead at 1:00pm. North Oldham broke 2-2 tie in the fourth inning scoring on Wyatt Husband single and Owen Turley Sacrifice Fly for a 4-2 lead. In the sixth inning Wyatt Burckhardt helped stopped a late rally by throwing out a runner at third base to Owen Turley for a strikeout / throwout doubleplay.  then Henry Baker got the final out with a strikeout and getting the win on the hill. At the plate for North Oldham, Wyatt Husband had a double and a single.  Corbin Phillips added a double. Henry Baker had a base hit.
    The 12's finished their pool play with a 12-4 win over Fleming County and will play Paintsville at 6pm on Wednesday in the Semi-Finals. For the North Oldham, Brady Noe had a triple and a single with four Rbi’s. Nathan Hoffman had a double and a single. Dawson Burckardt(2, Jackson Edgar(2), Casey Mais(2), Cooper Brown(2), Henry Stratton, Nolan Stethen and Brantley Wise had base hits.
    The 11's got a strong pitching performance from Luke Jacobson as North Oldham defeated Paintsville 8-2 as rain ended the game in the bottom of the fifth inning. Luke Jacobson allowed two runs, two hits and had five strikeouts in getting a complete game win. At the plate for North Oldham, Ben Bush(2), Cooper Potts, Lee Williams, Lucas Saucier, Seth Roberts, Nick Pedigo and Levi Moore had base hits.

7/22/24

   In Corbin at the baseball state tournament, North Oldham All-Stars 10's & 11's won their games but the 12's game was canceled because of the rain and will play at 12pm on Tuesday. The 10's finished with a record 3-0 in pool play with a 9-6 win over South Central and advance to the Semi-finals on Tuesday. For the 10's, on the hill,Ethan Hodges(5) lead a group of pitchers who combined for 11 strikeouts strikeouts and five hits.  At the plate Easton Craig(3), Ethan Hodges(2), Wyatt Husband(2) and Wyatt Burckardt had base hits.  The 11's ran their record to 2-0 in the tournament as they defeated South Laurel 6-1 and will play at 6pm Tuesday.  For the 11's, On the hill, Kairo Ball pitched three plus innings in getting the win allowing one run on three hits and getting three strikeouts. Lucas Saucier came in and finished the game with no run, no hits and and three strikeouts in two plus innings of work. At the plate, Levi Moore, Ben Bush, Lee Williams and Cooper Potts had base hits.

Back in LaGrange where its dry, Fall Ball Sign-ups are coming to end, Applications are available on our website get them mailed or dropoff at the concession stand.  Will be there early Saturday morning at Walsh Park to take any late sign-ups. 

7/21/24

At the State Baseball tournament in Corbin., we had another day of rain, delays and some great baseball play as all three North Oldham All-stars picked up wins in pool play.  
    The 10's started the day off with a comeback 7-6 win over Morehead.  After being down 6-0 going into the third inning the 10's started their rally scoring once in the third and then four runs in the fourth inning before a long rain delay. In the bottom of the sixth inning trailing 6-5 scored twice as Cooper Berry drew a bases loaded walk forcing in the winning run. For North Oldham, Wyatt Burckardt, Henry Baker, Ethan Hodges(2), Easton Craig,Wyatt Husband, Owen Turley,Sawyer Dennison, Nolan Withrow and Connor Seaman had base hits. Henry Baker and Connor Seaman  pitched 3 shutout innings to close out the game.
    The 12's took on Hazard Perry and walked away with a 7-3 win.  For North Oldham, Nathan Hoffman lead off the game with a homerun over the leftfield fence. For an early 1-0 lead.
Hazard-Perry answered back with two runs of their own for a 2-1 lead.  North Oldham put three runs on the board in the the fourth and fifth inning for a 7-3lead.  Jackson Edgar, Brady Noe, Max West(2) and Liam Williams had base hits.  Casey Mais pitched five innings allowing 3 hits, one runs and getting five strikeouts in picking up the win.  Cooper Brown finished the game for the save.  
    After getting their opening game pushed back a day, the 11's finally got on the field late as they took on eastern and got a 3-2 win.  All the runs was scored in the first inning as Eastern scored twice and North Oldham answered back with three of their own.  For North Oldham Levi Moore picked up the win allowing just one hit and getting four strikeouts in three innings of work. Nick Pedigo pitched three shutout innings to finish the game in getting the save and had the only hit at the plate.

North Oldham Little League 10's & 12's baseball All-Stars took to the field and pick up wins at State tournament in Corbin.  The 11's tournament schedule was pushed back a day because rain and lightning delays.   For the 12's North Oldham took on Eastern to start the day and gained a For the 4-2 win.  Pitchers Nathan Hoffman, Max West and Brady Noe combined allowing two runs and getting eight strikeouts. Nathan Hoffman had a double. Jackson Edgar, Liam Williams and Max West(2) had base hits.
    For the 10's, after a late start and a lightning delay North Oldham defeated Harrison County 7-2.  Owen Turley and Wyatt Husband each had a double and a single. Easton Craig(2), Corbin Phillips, Ethan Hodges, Sawyer Dennison andConnor Seaman had base hits. Owen Turley, Tanner Seaman and Sawyer Dennison combined allowing 2 runs, five hits and 8 strikeouts.

At the Softball state tournament in Lebanon, the North Oldham Little League All-Stars season came to a end as the 10's and 12's both lost their second game of the day to be eliminated. Hats off to all the players, coaches, families and fans that gave of their time and support to the teams. The young ladies represented North Oldham Little League well. THANK YOU.
    For the 10's, In the first game North Oldham defeated Jackson County 5-3 scoring the go ahead runs in the fourth inning.  For North Oldham, Presley Baillargeon had a double.  Carly Kress, Ellie  Fox, Addy Smith and Lily Kraus had base hits. Pitchers Hailey McCarthy and Addy Smith combined allowing just 3 hits and getting six strikeouts.  In the second game, North Oldham fell to Ashland 10-2.  For North Oldham Hailey McCarthy(2) and Addy Smith had base hits.
    For the 12's, North Oldham won their first game defeating Fleming Neon 5-2. For North Oldham, Isabell Kraus had a triple and a single. Eva Fox added a double and a single. Leah Oberholtzer, Rori Davis, Harper Edgar and Brynn Thorpe had base hits. Rori Davis picked up the win in the circle with a complete game and five strikeouts. In the second game, North Oldham gave up four runs in the first inning to Jackson County and lost 8-3.  For North Oldham, Olivia Roth had a triple.  Eva Fox,  Leah Oberholtzer, Harper Edgar, Isabelle Kraus and Brynn Thorpe had base hits.

7/11/24    At the State Softball Tournament in Lebanon North Oldham 10'2 & 12's young ladies each picked up a win as the 10's defeated Shelby Valley 13-2 and the 12's took down Bluegrass Fast Pitch 9-5.
    For the 10's, North Oldham received a strong pitching performance from Addyson Smith pitching four scoreless innings allowing no hits and getting 11 strikeouts in getting a 13-2 win over Shelby Valley. Carly Kress had a double and a single.  Lily Kraus, Ellie Fox, Hailey McCarthy(2),Addyson Smith, Zoie Taylor, Presley Baillargeon had base hits.  North Oldham will take on Jackson County at 2:00pm.
    For the 12's,   North Oldham picked up their first win defeating Bluegrass Fast Pitch 9-6.  For North Oldham, Leah Oberholtzer had a triple and double among her four hits. 7/10/24   North Oldham Little League softball all-stars started their state tournaments in Lebanon as both the 10's and 12's had one run losses.  The 10's  fell 1-0 to South hardin as the only run was scored in the fourth inning. For North Oldham  Hailey McCarthy pitched  allowing two hits and getting 8 strikeouts.  Presley baillargeon had a triple. Lilly Kraus added a double. Zoie Taylor had a base hit.   The 10's will play tonight at 6pm against Shelby Valley in the losers bracket.

The 12's  rally in the sixth inning  was stopped short by Marion County as they lost 7-6.  For North Oldham,  Leah Oberholtzer and Eva Fox each haad a triple and a double. Rori Davis(2), Olivia Roth(2), Isabelle Kraus and Harper Edgar had base hits.  The 12's will play tonight at 6pm in the losers bracket.

7/9/24   At the state tournament in Richmond the 8 year olds season came to an end with a 8-5 loss in the championship game against Valley Sports.   The 8's reached the championship game Tuesday. beating Daviess County 12-1 in their first game.  For North Oldham, Caleb Hoffman had two triples and and a double. Jaxson  Warren had a triple and a double. Camden Salas and Elijah Self had doubles.  Kai Eliason(2), Cooper Ferrell(3), Kip Hudnall(2) and Jameson Schleder(2) had base hits.  In the Championship  game Valley Sports was waiting as they rally back in the sixth inning for a 8-5 win. For North Oldham,  Elijah Self (2), and Tripp Hurless had doubles.  Cooper Ferrell(3),Camden Salas(2), Caleb Hoffman, Jaxson Warren(2), Kai Eliason(2),Kip Hudnall, Levi Greer and Jameson Schleder(2)  had base hits.. Congratulations to all the players Coaches, families and fans  for your countless hours and support you have given to this team you have have represented North Oldham Little League well.  State Runner-up.  Learn from it and build on it for the coming years.

7/8/24 At the state tournament in Richmond North Oldham 8's advanced to the finals of the losers bracket winning two games on Monday.  in the first game, took on Adair County and won 11-3. For North Oldham,  Caleb Hoffman had a homerun and two triples. Camden Salas(2) and Jameson Schleder had homeruns.  Tripp Hurless added a double. Elijah Self and Kai Eliason each had two hits. In their second game, North Oldham got revenge against  Eastern  for their first loss of the tournament winning 8-5.  For North Oldham Little League, Jaxson Warren, camden Salas and Kai Eliason each had a double.  Levi Greer, Tripp Hurless and Caleb Hoffman each had two hits.  Tonight in Richmond they will play Daviess County at 6pm with Valley Sports waiting for the winner of that game for the state Championship. 

Girls Softball All-Stars head to Lebanon for their State tournament tomorrow 10's play at 2:00pm against South Hardin  and the 12's plays the winner of Fleming-Neon/Marion County game at 8pm

7/7/24  In Richmond the 8 year Olds  opened their tournament with a 11-1 win over Marion County and then lost in eght innings to Eastern 11-10 on Saturday.  On Sunday,  they bounced back with wins  against Lewis County 14-0  and Knox County 12-4 and will play  Adair County Monday at 6pm.  In their 14-0 win against Lewis County, Jaxson Warren, Elijah Self(2) and Cooper Ferrell had triples. Camden Salas and Caleb Hoffman had doubles.  Against Knox County North oldham had 12-4 win.  Caleb Hoffman had a triple and a double.  Camden Salas had a homerun. Kai Eliason and Elijah Self(2) had triples. Kip Hudnall added a double.

it was a humid night at Walsh Park on Wednesday with two district championships at stake for the 10's and 12'  against South Oldham and North Oldham claimed both with shutout wins as they move on to the state tournament in Corbin starting July 20.
    The 10's blanked South 10-0 behind the pitching of Wyatt Burckardt four strikeouts in four innings of work.  North scored 10 runs  in the third inning  Henry Baker had a double. Corbin Phillips,Ethan Hodges, Owen Turley, Wyatt Husband,Cooper Berry, Connor Seaman and Nolan Withrow had base hits.
    The 12's walked off the field at Walsh Park for the last time as  District  Champions  by beating South Oldham 15-0 and they will continue their journey heading to Corbin for the state tournament on July 20. For North, Brady Noe and Max West combined for eight strikeouts in three innings.  Nathan Hoffman had a homerun, a triple and a single. Brady Noe and Brantley Wise each had a double and a single. Jackson Edgar, Nolan Stethen, Liam Williams, and DawsonBurckardt(2) had base hits.

At Walsh Park  on Tuesday,  it was a hot night as the 10 Navy took on 10 gold  and came away with a 11-2 win to advance to the championship game.   For North Navy, Henry Baker had two triples. Corbin Phillips had a triple and two singles.  Wyatt Husband had two doubles and a single.  Owen Turley had a triple and a single. For 10 Gold,  Liam Teague had a double. Mason Vittitow had two hits.

With less humidty we had great weather for ball games on Monday night. At Walsh Park the 11 National baseball All-Stars jumped out with seven runs in the first inning against Valley Sports on their way to a 16-3 win as they took the District 2 Championship and will be headed to the State Tournament in Corbin. For North, Cruz Simpson had a triple and a single.  Luke Jacobson pitched four innings for the win.  The 10 Navy defeated South Oldham Navy 15-0. Henry Baker and Nolan Withrow had doubles. The 10 gold beat Germantown 11-1. For North Oldham, Liam Teague had a triple anad a single..  Isaiah Moel added a double. Over at South Oldham, Softball 8 Gold lost to Shelby County 16-10 and the 8 Navy lost to South Oldham 16-6.

It was a hot and humid day for All-Star games on Sunday afterrnoon at the ball parks. Over at South Oldham, Softball 8 Gold defeated Henry County 16-6 and the 8 Navy fell 16-12. At Walsh Park, The 12 Nationals took down South Oldham 10-0.  For North Oldham, Brantley Wise had a double. Nathan Hoffman had three hits.  The 11's fell to Valley Sports 9-5. For North, Cruz Simpson had two triples. The 10 navy defeated Shelby 10-0 Wyatt Husband and Wyatt Birckardt had doubles. The 10 Gold defeated Henry County 16-6 For NorthOldham, Liam Teague had a homerun, a triple and a double. Pierson Philpot had a triple. Brooks Warren added a double.
6/28/24
It was a hot night at the ballparks on Friday as four North Oldham all-stars teams took to the field  with three teams in a championship game. AT South Oldham, North Oldham 10's Softball all-stars won the district championship defeating Henry County 3-2 and will be joining our 12's at the state tournament in Marion County next week. The 7 post baseball won their second game as they defeated Germantown 16-1. For North Oldham, Elden Channell and Beckham Newby each had two singles and a double. Dawson Pound had three hits. Griffin Turley, Caleb McCarthy, and Weston Harkins had a single and a double.  Lucas Snyder, Cayden McCleod, and Lincoln Baker had two hits.  Easton Isaacs and Max Rimer each had a hit.
    At Walsh Park the 10's & 8's baseball all-stars had their championship game.  The 10's scored eight runs in the first inning on their way to winning the championship 14-4 over Valley Sports. For North, Derek Brown had a triple, double and a single.Beckett Bramlage-Schomburg, Gavin Schneble and Landon Pack had doubles. Lincoln Schleder and Maddox Busalacchi added triples. The 8's fell to Valley Sports 8-7 in seven innings in their championship game. For North Oldham, Caleb Hoffman, Elijah Self and Jaxson Warren had doubles.

6/27/24
After two nights of rainouts North Oldham All-Stars were back on the fields Thursday night.  At South Oldham 12's softball All-Stars clinched the District 2 championship shutting out out Valley Sports 10-0 in the semi-finals and in the championship game came back from 1-0 to beat South Oldham 4-1 and will be heading to the state tournament in Marion County. The 10's Softball All-Stars won their first came 4-1 over Valley Sports and defeated Henry County 3-2 and will play Henry County again tonight at 6pm in the championship game at South Oldham.  The 7 post baseball all-stars picked up their first win defeating Henry County 16-6.  Lucas Snyder and Easton Isaacs each had a double and a single.
    Back at Walsh Park, 12 post baseball all-stars won their championship over the the Gold  12-2. For Navy Eli Glass had a double. Clayton Bissinger and Reece Halford had triples. For the Gold, Brady Bottorff and Elias Channell had base hits. The 10 navy post team won against South Oldham 21-3.  For Navy,  Derek Brown had a homerun, a triple and a single. Beckett Bramlage-Schomburg had a triple. Gavin Schneble and Landon Pack(2) had doubles. the 10 Gold fell to Valley Sports 16-13.  For the Gold, Thomas Manning had a triple and a double.  Braxton Chism added a double.The 8's Navy advance to the championship by shutting out  Germantown 15-0. For Navy, Camden Salas, Jameson Schleder and Cooper Ferrell had triples.  Beckett Hauler Tripp Hurless, Jaxson Warren and Elijah Self had doubles.

6/25/24
It was a hot and humid night at Walsh Park  Monday night as the North Oldham took to the field.  In the 10 Year Old Post Baseball Tournament.  The 10 Navy went 3-0 to clinch the top seed with 14-4  win over South Oldham. for the Navy, Beckett Bramlage-Schomburg and Landon Pack each had a double and two singles.  Maddox Busalacchi had a double. Derek Brown(3),Ricky Neuner(2), Gavin Schneble(2), Braxton Anderson(2), Cooper Harrod, Ben Stephens, Luke Doelker and Colton Horstman had base hits. North Gold topped Valley Sports 19-13. to run their record to 2-1. For Gold, Cam Hill had a triple and a double. Thomas Manning had a double and three singles. Connor Kress had a double and two singles. Braxton Chism had a double and a single. Dylan henson had a double.

It was great day for Sunday afternoon baseball. At Walsh Park the two North Oldham teams in the 10 post season tournament and the Navy defeated the Gold 23-0  For the Navy Lincoln Schleder had three hits.  8 National defeated  Henry County 10-0  woth a five run third inning. For the 8 Navy All-Stars, Beckett Hauler had a homerun. Kip Hudnall had a triple and a double.  Kai Elaison, jaxson Warrn and Tripp Hurless(2) had doubles. 8  Gold fell to Germantown 11-1. 12's Post-Season game was postponed because of rain and will resume on Tuesday at 6pm.

Over at South Oldham, Our 10 Navy defeated the our Gold team.   The 12's  won their game.
6/23/24
 The All-Star season got under way on Saturday as the softball ladies and the the 7 post baseball traveled to South Oldham. In Softball, the 12's  won 15-0.  The 10 Goldlost to South Oldham 18-3 and the 10 Navy fell to Henry County 13-3.  The 7 post fell to Valley SPorts 10-2.  At Walsh Park, The  12 Navy topped the 12 Gold 10-9, the 10 navy defeated Valley Sports 18-1 and the 10 Gold defeated South 38-21.  The 8 Navy  defeated South Oldham 9-0 and the 8 Gold rally back and beat South 11-10.

The 8 Navy all-stars clinched their pool as they defeated Shelby County 12-2.   caleb Hoffman and Beckett Hauler each had a double and a single.   Jaxson Warren(2), Camden Salas, Elijah Self, Tripp Hurless,Kip Hudnall,Kimgstonn Gordon and Kai Eliason had base hits.  The 8 Gold team season ended with a 12-2 loss to Valley Sports. For Gold, Sam Moel had a double. Lincoln Howard(2), Tate Kaiser,Landon SMith,and Jude Bean had base hits. Gavin Taylor had a double.

Over at South Oldham Little League  softball ladies and 7 year old base ball all-stars took the field. In Softball, the 12's defeated South Oldham 15- 3 as they  advanced to the winners bracket.   The 10's defeated South Oldham 8-2.

The 7  year old post baseball all-stars  fell to South Oldham 18-8.

 

6/17/24 

We had hot weather, a big crowd and two exciting championships At Walsh Park on Monday as the Major and Minor Baseball Championships were decided and more All-Star hardware was picked up. In Major Baseball  The Dodgers overcame a 15-3 deficit and rally back with a 10 run fifth inning to defeat the Orioles 17-16 for the Major League Baseball Championship. 6/15/24  It was hot day at Walsh Park for the final Saturday of the Spring Season. Coach Pitch & T-Ball  ended their season  as the players picked up some hardware for their year of playing  We Had three championship that was decided with two being decided by one run and one ended with a perfect season and we handed out all-star trophies to our all-stars.

In Minor Softball, The Falcons ran their record to perfect 19-0 with a 11-2 win over the Dynamite as pitchers Addy Smith and Mary Fitzgerald combined for 14 strikeouts in the circle.  In Rookie baseball, The Tigers Bo Cox knocked in the game winning run to cap a three run sixth inning to beat the Guardians for the Championship. The Cyclones held off a late rally by the Wolverines to win the Rookie League Softball Championship 9-8.   Visit our website  for game highlights of each game.  Fall Ball Application and League Evaluation available on our wbesite until July 23  HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL

6/14/24  We had a busy crowd  at Walsh Park on Friday with hot weather and some exciting games  as teams  advance to their championship game  and some of the Coach pitch teams started picking up some hardware.  In Major Baseball, the Dodgers scored seven times in the fifth inning to beat the D-Backs 7-2.  In the nightcap the Orioles held off the Astros 7-6.  In Minor baseball, the Marlins took care of the Mets 9-2 and the Pirates handed the Cubs 8-1 loss. In Minor Softball, the Falcon stopped the Scorpions 16-6 and the Dynamite beat the Outlaws 12-6. 6/13/24 It was a hot  Thursday night  at Walsh Park with plenty of exciting games and we started handing out some hardware. The Panthers rally back with five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to beat the Hornets  9-8 as Isa Garr had the game winning hit to win the Major League Softball championship. In the first game of the league tournament the Scorpions scored three times in the bottom of the sixth inning to beat the Warriors 12-11.  In Rookie Baseball, The  Tigers punched their ticket to the Championship game on Saturday as they beat the Mariners 10-8. The Cyclones advanced to the Championship game on Saturday as they scored five runs in two different innings to beat the Rampage 14-9.   Visit our website for game highlights of each game.  fall Ball applications are available  on website until July 23..

6/12/24  Another great night of weather and games at Walsh Park on Wednesday night.  In Minor Baseball, the regular season came to an e game nd as the Rockies topped the Mets 12-11.  In  Rookie Baseball, the Guardians Camden Salas hit his first homerun out as the guardians clinched a spot in the championship game defeating  the Redsoxs  14-11.  For the Redsoxs, Elijah Self hit hit his seventh homerun.  The rookie Softball tournament got underway as the Rampage edged the Falcons 10-9.  Visit our website for game highlights of each game.   Fall Ball Applications are now available on our website.

 

6/11/24  It was a busy Tuesday night at Walsh Park with plenty of great games to watch.  In Major baseball, the Dodgers topped the braves 11-6 and the Astros knocked off the Bluejays 25-7. In Minor baseball, the Brewers took care of the Giants  winning 13 -9 and the Marlins edged the Pirates 11-9. 6/10/24  It was a cool evening at Walsh Park on Monday as the regular season is its last week and the league tournaments beginning.Iover the Rangers 19-9n Major Baseball, the D-backs over the Rangers 19-9 and the Orioles over the Phillies 23-7. In major Softball the Hornets knocked off the Panthers 9-8.  To all the 12 year Old Boys and Girls that are playing their last year at North Oldham Little League  some have played here for 9 years.  We want to Thank you and your family for being a part of North Oldham Little League and wish you nothing but the best.

6/9/24  We had a nice sunny dayat Walsh Park on Sunday afternoon  for 8 make up games.  In Minor Baseball, the Mets finish their  suspended game with Nationals winning 11-6.  In Rookie Baseball the Redsox handed the Yankees a 16-5 loss and the Knocke off the Athletics winning 12-10. 6/8/24  On the last saturday of the regular season at  Walsh Park  we had a big crowd  and great weather for a full day of exciting games.  In Major Baseball, the Dodgers took down the Astros 7-4, the Bluejays edged the Braves 8-7, and the D-Backs took care of Germantown 14-3 at home at Germantown the Rangers fell9-8. In Minor Baseball, the Mets took care of the Brewers 16-9  as Wyatt Husband hit a homerun out, the Reds defeated the Giants 11-3 and the Pirates stopped the Padres 6-1. In Minor Softball the Warriors stopped the Dynamite 9-7,the Falcons defeated the Outlaws 18-0 and the Warriors topped the Scorpions 14-6.  In Rookie baseball the scoreboartwod stayed busy as the Redsoxs topped the angels 16-14 as Elijah Self hit his 5th & 6th out of the park 2 run homers for the Redsox. the Athletics edged the Cardinals 15-14 and the Whitesoxs defeated the Yankees 6-1. 6/7/27  At Walsh Park on Friday we had a big crowd, great weather and some exciting games. In Major Baseball, the D-Backs won a pair of games over the Phillies 14-7 and 12-4.  In the night cap  the Orioles shutout the Rangers 5-0.  In Minor Baseball, the Cubs topped the Nationals 9-8 and the Marlins Sam Felix had the game winning hit in the seventh inning to beat the Rockies 7-6 to finish off the night. 6/5/24  After a rainout on Tuesday Walsh Park was busy again on Wednesday with a full slate of games and we were able to get the first set of games completed  but lightning and rain stopped the 8pm games.  In Major Baseball  the Braves knocked off the Bluejays 8-4.  In Minor Baseball, the Pirates shutout the Rockies 8-0 and the reds handed the Brewers 11-3 loss.  In Minor Softball,  the Outlaws needed an extra inning as they scored twice in the seventh inning to beat the Scorpions 10-9.  In Rookie Baseball, the Angels took down the Twins 13-6. In Coach pitch the Bulls Cy Roemer had 3 hits and 4 outs in the field to get the game ball.  tHE 8pm games were suspended and will resume on following days   Phillies/D-Backs Friday June 7th 6pm,  Mets/Nationals Sunday, June 9th at 2pm and Dynamites/Warriors  Sunday June 9th at 4pm.  Visit our website for game highlights of each game.

6/3/24  It was a hot and humid night at Walsh Park on Monday as we enter the final full week of the regular season games. In Major Baseball, the Orioles continued their winning streak with a 16-4 win over the Rangers.  In Minor Baseball, two of the top teams  met as the Marlins came out on top 4-1over the Cubs. In the nightcap, th Brewers edged the Rockies 13-12.  In Minor Softball, theFalcons remained undefeated as they held off a late rally by the Scorpions winning 8-7. 6/2/24  The rain held off for the most part for  Sunday afternoon games at Walsh Park.  In Major Baseball, he Orioles Brantley Wise hit a game tying grand slam in the bottom of the sixth inning and in the eighth inning Brady Noe scored on a passed ball for 9-8 win over the Braves. 5/28/24 After the holiday weekend and the last day of school for most Walsh Park was busy and we had some close ball games Tuesday night.  In Major Baseball, the Rangers topped the Phillies 14-8 and in the nightcap the top two team squared off as the D-Backs topped the Orioles 3-1.  In Minor Baseball, the Cubs  handed the Brewers 11-3 loss and the Nationals topped the Padres 8-7.  In Minor Softball, the Outlaws edged the Warriors 9-8 and the Falcons took care of the Dynamite  17-5. 5/19/24     It was a hot sunny afternoon at Walsh Park Sunday with a full slate of makeup game.  In T-Ball,  the Grizzlies Brook Farmer got the game ball for her defense and she had three hits. 5/18/24  With early morning fog gone the fields were ready to go with a new O'Glory raised to go with great weather and great games made Walsh Park a good place to be on  Saturday. In Coach Pitch, the Emeralds Peyton Hudnall picked up the game ball with  a couple of catches and had two hits.  In Major Baseball, the Bluejays took care of the Rangers 15-4 and the Dodgers held off a late rally by the Phillies to win 10-8.  In Minor Baseball, the Cubs started the day with a 12-6 win over the Mets, the Rockies defeated the Nationals 13-6 and the Padres finished the day with their first win as Easton Craig had the game winning hit in the bottom of the sixth inning to win 6-5.  In Minor Softball,  the falcons and the Warriors picked up wins by the score 9-7 and 15-8 respectfully. 5/15/24 After Tuesday night rainout we were able to get all the games completed on Wednesday  in between some afternoon and evening showers where there was plenty of exciting games.  In Major Baseball, the Braves took down league leader Orioles 4-2.  In Minor Baseball,  the scoreboard stayed busy as the Brewers rolled past the Padres 21-12 and over on Field #3 the Cubs stopped the Nationals 4-1 behind the pitching of  Owen Turley and Brayden Hall.  In Minor Softball, the Outlaws  defeated  the Dynamite 11-8.  In Rookie Baseball, the Redsoxs was back in the win column with 14-8 win over the Angels 14-8. In Coach Pitch the Rockhounds Kirk Burris picked up the game ball with a couple of hits. 5/13/24 We started the sixth week with beautiful weather on Monday Night  as Walsh Park  had plenty of exciting games.  In Major Baseball, the Bluejays topped the Rangers 8-6.  In Minor baseball, the Reds had a four run fourth inning to beat the Rockies 6-2.   In Minor Softball, the Falcons put runs on the board in every at bat to beat the Scorpions 14-7.  In Rookie Baseball, over on field #5 a battle of unbeatens met as the Tigers topped  the Guardians 11-8 and over at #4 the Cardinals held off a late rally by the Athletics  to win 12-11.  Visit our website for game highlights of each game.

5/11/24  Walsh Park was a busy place on Saturday  with a great crowd , great weather  and some great games. 5/10/24  With no rain for the day and great  weather Walsh Park was busy and we plenty of exciting  games Friday night.  In Major Baseball, the Braves defeated the Phillies 6-1 and in the nightcap the Orioles  edged the Dodgers 1-0 on Brantley Wise base hit in the sixth inning.  In Minor Baseball,  the Nationals took care of the Giants 20-3 and the Cubs  beat the Padres 14-3,  In Minor Softball, the Falcons  knocked off the Outlaws 9-4 and the Dynamite topped the Scorpions 8-7.  In Rookie Baseball, the Twins Mason Smothers had a game winning double  to beat the Cardinals 9-8.  In Rookie Softball, the Magice  rolled past the Rampage 13-5.  Visit our website for game highlights of each game

5/9/24   We had great night of weather for ball games Thursday night at Walsh Park.  In Major Baseball, after five scoreless innings the D-Backs erupted with four runs  in the sixth inning to beat the Bluejays 4-0.  In Major Softball, the Hornets needed eight innings to top the Panthers 7-6.  In Minor Baseball, the Pirates took care of the Rockies 11-2.  In Rookie baseball, the Tigers ran their record to 8-0 with a 16-7 win over the Yankees.  In Rookie Softball, the Cyclones had three five run innings as they defeated the Wolverines 18-3.  Visit our website for game highlights of eachgame.

5/8/24   Lightning and Rain stopped the games Wednesday night before we could get any completed games except the 6pm Coach Pitch and T-Ball  games.   The evening wasn't a total loss, down on Field # 4  The Redsoxs Elijah Self hit his first out of the park homerun  over the Leftfield fence. in the first inning. All suspended games have rescheduled for completion .

5/7/24 After three days off  with Derby Weekend and a rainout Walsh Park was busy again on Tuesday. Despite all the mid-day rain the fields were ready to go and the evening  storms stayed away games and we had some exciting games .  In Major Baseball, the Braves made a comeback to beat the  Phillies 9-7.  In Major Softball, the Panthers defeated the Hornets 6-4.  In Minor Baseball, the Marlins  Nolan Loken had  three hits to lead the Marlins to 13- 6 win over the Padres.  In Rookie Baseball,  the Twins took care of the Whitesox 11-2.  In Rookie Softball, Avery Combs had three hits for the Rampage  as they defeated the Falcons 7-3.  Visit our website for game highlights of each game.          5/3/24  With a small slate of games on Friday and  despite some rain we were able to get the games in and we had a couple of games that was decided in the teams last at bats.  In Minor Baseball, the Rockies rally for three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning as Ryan Curran scored the game winning run.  In Rookie Baseball, the Twins  defeated the Athletics 14-8.   In Rookie Softball,  The Cyclones Libby Potts  base hit knocked in the winning run as they rally for three runs in the sixth inning to beat the Magic 9-8.   Visit our website for game highlights of each game.  Hope everyone has a safe Derby Day

5/2/24   Another night of great weather for  ball games at Walsh Park  as the scoreboards stayed busy.  In Major Baseball, the D-Backs took care of the Rangers 19-2. In Major Softball, the Hornets had back to back four run innings to beat the Panthers 10-7.  In Minor Baseball, the Mets knocked off the Padres 20-11.  In Minor Softball, in the late game the Dynamite came out on top 9-7 over the Outlaws.  In Rookie Baseball, the  Guardians defeated the Angels 19-3.  In Rookie Softball, the Rampage defeated the Wolverines 8-3.  In Coach Pitch, The Hot Rods Beau Crowder picked up the game ball  with three hits.  Visit our website for game highlights of each game.

5/1/24    on Wednesday at Walsh Park we had great weather and a busy crowd as we started  May with some exciting ball games.  In Major Baseball, in the first game the  Dodgers handed the Braves 10-1  loss and in the night cap the Bluejays topped the Braves 11-8. In Minor Baseball, the Pirates  picked up 5-2 win over the Brewers. In Minor Softball, the Scorpions was back in the win column with a 12-7 win over the Outlaws.  in Rookie Baseball, the Yankees took care of the Cardinals 16-5 and  the Redsox  Elijah Self had triple and double to knock off the Whitesox  7-4.  Visit our website for game highlights of each game.

4/30/24  April came to a close on Tuesday as the fields at Walsh Park  were ready to go for some exciting games after overnight rain.   In Major Baseball, the Orioles  shutout the Phillies 4-0.  In Minor Baseball, the Cubs four run fourth inning broke  a 3-3 tie as they defeated the Nationals 7- 3.  In Minor  Softball, The Falcons rally back after being down 5-0 in the first inning to top the Warriors 14-6.  In Rookie Baseball, The Tigers  Owen Ridgeway knocked in Lincoln Baker with the go ahead run in the sixth inning to excape with a 4-3 win over the Mariners.  In Rookie Softball, the Falcons rally back with five runs in the top of the sixth inning to beat the Magic 11-10. In Coach-Pitch, the Rivercats Nathan Ward picked up the game ball for getting a runner out at  homeplate and another one at second base and had a couple of hits at the plate. 4/29/24  With a third of the 2024 season complete, the fourth week got underway on Monday at Walsh Park with some close ball games as the rain stayed away.  In Major Baseball, the Astros came back on the Bluejays to win 9-6.  In Minor Baseball,  the Marlins continued their winning streaks as they topped the Giants 8-4.  In Minor Softball, the Dynamite came back on the Outlaws to win 8-6.  In Rookie Baseball, the Tigers  remained undefeated by beating the Yankees 23-4.  In Rookie Softball, the Falcons scored five times in the sixth inning to beat the Cyclones 10-5.   In Coach Pitch, Tin Caps Everett Clifford  picked up the game ball with a couple of hits.   Visit our website for game highlights of each game.

4/28/24  with great weather, Walsh park wasy busy Sunday afternoonfor some make-up  games.  In Minor Baseball, the Brewers rolled past the Rockies 19-6. In Rookie Baseball, the Mariners took down the Yankees 15-6. 4/27/24 Walsh Park  was busy on Saturday with some great weather and games on the slate.  Thanks to all the Minor Baseball teams that did clean-up this morning. and everyone that helped with the concession stand.   In Major Baseball, the D-Backs defeated the Braves 16-0, the Dodgers defeated the Rangers 7-1, Bluejays  over Germantown 10-6 and the Astros finished the day with a 12-7 victory over Germantown.  In Major Softball, the Hornets stopped Germantown 25-9 and the Panthers won 17 - 2.  In Minor baseball, the Marlins blanked the Mets 11-0, the Pirates held off a comback by the Reds to win 7-5  and the Rockies edge the Brewers 6-5.

In Rookie Baseball, The Mariners stopped the Athletics 14-5, the Twins edged the Whitesoxs 10-9  and the Angels held off a late rally by the Cardinals winning 11-10.  In Rookie Softball the Cyclones kept their wining streak going as they beat the Wolverines 19-9 and Rampage won 6-1 over the Magic.  Visit our website for game highlights of each game. 

4/26/24  Walsh Park had a busy crowd for Friday Night games.  In Major  Baseball,   In the nightcap, The Phillies  Max West was the difference as they edged the Astros 2-1 for their first win. For the Phillies, Max West had a homerun in the first inning and a triple in the fourth inning and pitched four shutout innings getting seven strikeouts.  In the first game, the Orioles rolled past the Bluejays 13-3.  In Minor baseball, the Nationals  took care of the Giants 11-4 and the Cubs knocked off the  Padres 15-10.  

In Minor Softball, The Dynamites put back to back five runs innings as they beat the Warriors 14-6.  In rookie Baseball, The Guardians Lucas Snyder knocked in the game winning run in the sixth inning to top the Redsoxs 7-6. 4/25/24 With great weather for some ball games  Walsh Park was busy  Thursday night.   In Major baseball, the D-Backs snapped their losing streak winning 9-4 over the Braves.  In Major Softball, the scoreboard stayed  busy as the Panthers won 16-14 over the Hornets.  In Minor baseball,   The Brewers defeated thw Pirates 11-3.  In Rookie Baseball, the Mariners topped  Cardinals 6-2.   In Rookie Softball, the Rampage  picked up their first win with a 10-4  win over the Faclcons.   Visit our websites  for  game highlights of each game.

4/23/24  It was a cool Tuesday night at Walsh  Park and the rain held off  long enough to get all the games in with some close softball games and some high scoring games in baseball.  In Major baseball, the Astros beat the Phillies 15-3. In Major Softballl, the Panthers came back bock on the Hornets scoring three times in the fifth inning to beat the Hornets 9-8. 4/22/24  With a fresh cut the fields were ready to go to start  week three of  the 2024 season on a cool Monday night at Walsh Park.  In Major Baseball, The Orioles Brantley Wise broke a 3-3  tie the sixth inning  with a 3 run homerun over the centerfield fence  as they beat the Bluejays 7-4.  In Minor Baseball, the Mets handed the Cubs their first loss winning 11-3  and the Pirates won the nightcap 13-3 over the Reds,  In Minor Softball, the Falcons rolled past the Scorpions 23-7.  In Rookie Baseball, the Redsoxs came out on  top in  high scoring affair 17-13 over the Twins  and the Guardians  stopped  Yankees 13-2.  Visit our website for game highligts of each game.

4/20/24  It was a cool brisk  Saturday  at Walsh Park for clean-up, picture day and plenty of great ball games.   THANK YOU to all th Major Baseball teams players and parents  that helped with clean-up of the park.  In Major Baseball, the Phillies defeated the Bluejays 9-3, the Rangers edged the  braves 7-6, the Dodgers defeated Germantown  15-1 and the Orioles picked a 12-4 win at Germantown.  In Minor Baseball, the Mets  defeated the Giants 7-2.  The Nationals went seven innings to beat the Reds 9-7, and the Marlins finished off the day with a  14-5 win over the Brewers.  In Minor Softball the Warriors held off the Outlaws to  win 15-14.  In rookie Baseball, the Guardians  downed the Cardinals 14-1. Redsox  topped the Yankees 13-5 The Tigers beat the Athletics 14-4 and Mariners stopped the Whitesox 7-4. 4/19/24   After overnight and morning rain withsome help and some sun the fields were  ready for a full friday night of games at Walsh Park.  In major Baseball, the Dodgers came back on the D-Backs to win 10-8. In the nightcap the Oriole shutout the Astros 3-0.  In Minor baseball, the  Cubs topped the Padres 7-5 and the Pirates took care of the Rockies 14-2.   In Minor Softball, the Falcons defeated the Outlaw 10-8 and the Dynamite edged the Scorpions 13-12. 4/16/24   After Monday night storms the fields at Walsh Park was ready to go for some great ball games on Tuesday.  In Major Baseball, the Dodgers kept the scoreboard busy with 15-4  win over the D-Backs. In Major Softball, the  Hornets scored five times in the fifth inning  to beat the Panthers 11-7.  In Minor Baseball, the Marlins pitchers Wyatt Burckardt,Lincoln Schleder and Gavin Schneble  combined for 14 strikeouts in  a 6-2 win over the Reds.  In Rookie Baseball, the  Twins Grayson Craig knocked in the game winning run in the seventh for a 14-13 win over the Yankees.  In Rookie Softball, the Falcons topped the Magic  5-4.   Visit our website for game highlights of each game.

4/15/24  At Walsh Park on Monday night with great weather to start the evening until lightning halted play to shortened the games.  In Major Baseball, the Astros picked up a 4-2 win over the Orioles. In Minor Baseball, the Pirates got the best of the Brewers 9-4. In Minor Softball, the Falcons stopped the the Dynamites 14-6.  In Rookie Baseball, on field Field #5 the Tigers took care of the

4/14/24 Another day of great weather at Walsh Park for full slate of make-Up games. In Major Baseball the Astros started the Day with a 13 -7 win over the Braves.  In the second game the Orioles came out on top with 3-2 win over the D-Backs and the Rangers finished the day with 10-6 win over the Phillies.  In Major Softball the Hornets top the Panthers 5-1. In Minor Baseball, the Cubs stopped thed the Giants 15-2, The Marlin defeated the Brewers 7-3 and the Rockies took care of Padres 16-4.   In Minor Softball, the Dynamite beat the Warriors 20-7.
In Rookie baseball, The Whitesox downed the Athletics 12-4, the Guardians had a 16-10 win over the Twins and the Angels finished the day winning 7-3 over the Yankees.  In Rookie Softball, the Cyclones won 19 -3 over the Falcons and the Wolverines edged the Magic 13-12.

4/13/24.After four days of rainouts the weather was perfect for a parade, opening day ceremonies and ball games as the 2024 season finally resumed with some great ball games.    In Major Baseball, the Orioles knocked the Rangers 13-2, the Astros took care of the Dodgers 11-2 and the D- Backs blanked the Phillies 10-0. In Major Softball, the Panthers need an extra inning to beat the Hornets 9-6.   In Minor baseball, the Reds shutout the Padres 17-0, the Pirates rolled past the Giants 19-7, the Nationals held off the Marlins 8-6 and Cubs Edged the Mets 3-1 to end the day. I Minor Softball , the Falcons defeated the Warriors 15-6 and the Outlaws stopped the Scorpions 11-8. In Rookie Baseball, the guardians topped the Athletics 2-1, The Redsox beat the Cardinals 13-3, Tigers 16-1, and the Whitesox topped the Angels 12-11. In Rookie Softball, the Cyclones defeated the Wolverines 14-2 and Falcons beat the Rampage 8-3

4/8/24  The 2024 season got under way with great weather and a big crowd at Walsh Park on Monday. In Major Baseball, the Dodgers defeated the Bluejays 9-3.  In Minor Baseball, the Mets blanked the Nationals 11-0. In Minor Softball, the Falcons had four five run innings as they beat the Scorpions 20-5.  In Rookie Baseball, The Redsox topped the Mariners 5-2 and the Tigers handed the Cardinals 13-8 loss.     Saturday is Opening Day Parade & Breakfast.  Breakfast starts at 7:00am at LaGrange Fire Department  Adults $5 Children $3 cash or check only. Parade lineup starts at 8:15am Leaves at 8:45 to Walsh Park for Opening Day Ceremonies.
