Rookie League Baseball Game Highlights

6/22/21  Nationals 7 - Pirates 1   The Nationals went perfect 19-0  to win the Rookie League Championship by beating the Pirates 7-1.  For the Nationals,  Seth Roberts had a double and a single.  Ethan Hodges and Jameson Watson had doubles. Cooper Potts(2), Lucas Saucier(2) and  Cruz Simpson had base hits.  For the Pirates, Noah Houchens had a double and a single.  ben Bush and Kayden Jordan. Congratulations Mr. Roberts on two perfect seasons in a row and keeping law and order.

6/18/21  Game #7  Pirates 5 - Twins 2  The third inning was the difference as the Pirates scored five times on their  way to a 5-2 win over the Twins to advance to the championship game.  For the Pirates, Seth Tiu, Ben Bush, Noah Houchens and Talyn Moberly had doubles. Brady Fleischer, Hudson Heid, Will Gardner and Kayden Jordan had base hits. For the Whitesoxs, Wyatt Burckardt had a double and a single. Sawyer Lye had a triple. James Bolin, Colt Ritchie and Liam Williams had base hits.

6/17/21  Game #6   Nationals  13 - Whitesoxs 8  The Nationals  punched their ticket to the championship game with a 13 - 8 score over the Whitesoxs.  For the Nationals, Jameson Watson had two triples and a single. Ethan Hodges and Lucas Saucier each had a double and two singles. Cruz Simpson(3), Cooper Potts(2) Jett Simpson,, AJ Weeks and Seth Roberts had base hits.  For the Whitesoxs, Brantley Wise had a triple and a double. Pete Crowder and Lee Hamilton each had a double Carson Rimmer(2), Wiley Curran, Christopher McFalls, Easton Craig and Owen Lindauer(2)  had base hits.  Nolan Withrow had a double and  a single.

6/16/21  Game #5  Pirates 9 - Bluejays  7  The Pirates rally back with three runs in the sixth inning to beat the Bluejays 9-7.  For the Pirates, Brady Fleischer, Ben Bush, and Noah Houchens had doubles.  For the Bluejays, Kyser Moore had a double.

6/15/21  Game #4  Whitesoxs 9 Mariners 7  The Whitesoxs  scored four times in the fifth inning to beat the Mariners 9-7.  For the Whitesoxs,  Brantley Wise  had three doubles.  Owen Lindauer(2),Easton Craig(3), Ryan Curran, Nolan Withrow, Pete Crowder(2), Lee Hamilton, Carson Rimmer(2),Wiley Curran and Jameson Human had base hits. For the Mariners, Lee Williams had a triple and two singles. Kairo Ball had a double and a single. Luke Jacobson, Dylan Henson(2), Ethan Jacobson(2), Porter Zuege, Cameron Campbell(2) and Wells Whitaker had base hits.

6/15/21 Game #3  Nationals 7 - Cubs 5   The Nationals needed a four run third inning to beat the Cubs 7-5.  For the Nationals, Cooper Potts had two Doubles. Jameson Watson had a double and a single. Seth Roberts(2), Ethan Rodgers, Lucas Saucier, Cruz Simpson(2), AJ Weeks, Jett Simpson and Conley Blakemore had base hits. For the Cubs, Nick Pedigo had a homerun and a double Evan Fischer had a double and a single. Lucas Via added a double Oliver Lackner and Hudson Wehr had a base hit.

6/14/21  Game #2 Twins 8 - Giants 6  The Twin's Cooper Berry knocked in the go ahead run in the fifth inning as they upend the Giants 8-6.  For the  Twins,  Colt Ritchie had a triple, double and a single.  Wyatt Burckardt had a double and two singles. Henry Baker had a double and a single.  Sawyer Lye(3), Liam Williams, James Bolin(2), Cooper Lange(3), and Landon Stewart had base hits.  For the Giants, Bodee Blevins had a  triple and double Wyatt Husband and Corbin Brown had doubles.  Levi Moore added a triple. Parker Philpot and  Xander Torres had base hits.

6/14/21 Game #1  Cubs 11 - Tigers 3 The rookie baseball tournament got under way as the Cubs put a pair of five run innings to beat the Tigers 11-3.  For the Cubs, Evan Fischer led the way with two triples. Jase Knoth and Nick Pedigo each had a double and a single.  Lucas Via(2), Hudson Wehr, Lincoln Schleder and  Jayson Lynch had base hits. For the Tigers, Jameson Flanagan had a triple and a single. Levi Neuner had a double and a single.  Carter Dees, Walker Bradley  and Hudson Kerrick had base hits.

6/13/21  Twins 6 - Cubs 2   The Twins scored four times in the third inning as they beat the Cubs 6-2.  For the Twins, Sawyer Lye had a triple and a double Wyatt Burckardt  had a double and a single. Liam Williams(2), Jackson Lange and Henry baker had base hits.  For the Cubs, Nick Pedigo had a double. Evan Fischer(2), Oliver Lackner, Lincoln Schleder(2) Jaxon Lynch and Hudson Wehr had base hits.

6/13/21  Nationals 9 - Twins 2  The Nationals finished the season perfect 16-0 with a 9-2 win over the Twins.   For the Nationals,  Cruz Simpson  had a triple and two doubles.  Seth Roberts had two doubles and a single.  Ethan Hodges had a double and a single.  Lucas Saucier, Jameson Watson, Cooper Potts(2) and Jett Simpson had base hits. 6/12/21    Cubs 5 - Mariners 0  In the Mustache game the Cubs shutout the Mariners  5-0.   Didn't see any Rollie Fingers  out there.  For the Cubs, Evan Fischer had a  triple, a double and a single. Nick Pedigo had a double and two singles. Oliver Lackner  had two hits.  For the Mariners, Luke Jacobson, Lee Williams(2) and Kairo Ball had base hits

6/12/21   Twins 3 -  Bluejays 1   The Twins  scored twice in the first inning and it was enough to edge the Bluejays 3-1.   For the Twins, Sawyer Lye  had a double and a single.  Liam Williams(2) Wyatt Burckardt, James Bolin(2)and Henry Baker had base hits.  For the Bluejays, Gavin Boyd, Brooks Warren, Gavin Fox, Conner Trippett and Sutton Elkins had base hits.

6/12/21  Giants 15 - Whitesoxs 3   The Giants scored  in every inning as they beat  the Whitesoxs 15- 3  For the Giants, Levi Moore had a triple and a double. Wyatt Husband and Corbin Brown added doubles.  For the Whitesoxs, Owen Lindauer had a double

6/11/21  Nationals 18 -  Bluejays  8  The Nationals bats stayed busy in a 18-8 win over the Bluejays.  For the Nationals, Seth Roberts had a triple among his four hits. Cruz Simpson had a triple, Double, and a single. Lucas Saucier and Cooper Potts each had a double and three singles.  Ethan Hodges(4), Aj Weeks, ett SImpson, Oliver Abell and Conley Blakemore(2) had base hits.  For the Bluejays, Kyser Moore and Juan Graves(2) had doubles. Conner Trippett, Gavin Fox, Joel Denny, Sutton Elkins and  Owen Turley had base hits

6/10/21  Tigers 7 Cubs 6   The Tigers Brody Hamm had the game winning hit  as they beat the Cubs 7-6.  For the Tigers, James Flanagan had a homerun. Hudson Kerrick and Micah Nimmo each had two hits. For the Cubs, Nick Pedigo had a triple and a double. Evan Fischer and Paxton Bram each had two hits.

6/10/21  Giants 9 - Pirates 8  The Giants Parker Philpot had game winning hit  in the bottom of the sixth inning as the Giants topped the Pirates 9-8.   For the Giants, Levi Moore had a triple.  Parker Philpot and Bodee Blevins had doubles.  For the Pirates, Noah Houchens had a triple. Ben Bush and Talyn Moberly added doubles.

6/8/21   Whitesoxs 10 - Pirates 6   The Whitesoxs was back in the win column with a 10-6 score against the Pirates.   For the Whitesoxs, Nolan Withrow had a a double and  two singles.  Pete Crowder(2), Easton Craig, Brantley Wise(3), Lee hamilton(2), Ryan Curran(2), Carson Rimmer, Christopher McFalls and Owen Lindauer(2) had base hits. For the Pirates, Noah Houchens had a double and a single.  Talyn Moberly(3),Brady Fleischer, SethnTiu, Ben Bush(2), Trey Edmonds, Clark Thompson, Quinn Stack and Kohen McMullen had base hits.

6/7/21   Mariners 4 - Giants 3.  The Mariners  Lee Williams knocked in the go ahead run in the sixth inning for a 4-3 win over the Giants. For the Mariners, Lee Williams had a triple and a double Kairo Ball and Beckett Bramlage-Schomburgl added a double. Porter Zuege had a base hit.  For the Giants, Bodee Blevins had a double and a single.

6/7/21  Mariners 8 - Tigers 4   The Mariners defeated the Tigers 8-4.  For the Mariners, Cam Campbell had a double For the Tigers, Ricky Neuner, Levi Neuner and Jamieson Flanagan each had two hits.

6/6/21   Giants 6 - Twins  1   The Giants scored five times in the fifth inning to beat the Twins before the rain came.  For the Giants, Corbin Brown had a triple.  Xander Torres added a double Levi Moore(2), Wyatt Husband, Parker Philpot(2), Bodee Blevins(2) and Ben Stephens had base hits.  For the Twins, Wyatt Burkardt had a double. Cooper Berry and James Bolin had base hits.

6/6/21  Tigers 6 - Whitesoxs 4   The Tigers picked up their first win  scoring four times  in the first inning as they defeated  the Whitesoxs 6-4.  For the Tigers, Levi Neuner had a double and two singles. Carter Dees(2), Jamieson Flanagan, Walker Bradley, Ricky Neuner, Grayson Stoops, andd Brody Hamm(2) had  base hits.    For the Whitesoxs, Brantley Wise had a double.  Pete Crowder, Lee Hamilton, Owen Lindauer, Easton Craig and Carson Rimmer had base hits.

6/5/21  Bluejays 21 - Tigers 9  The Bluejays offense stayed busy as they beat the Tigers 21-9.  For the Bluejays, Ben Sabatowski (2) and Kyser Moore had doubles.  For the Tigers, Jamieson Flanagan(2), Walker Bradley(2), Levi Neuner(2) and Carter Dees had doubles.

6/5/21 Nationals 18 - Mariners  5 The Nationals remained perfect  as they beat the Mariners 18-5.  For the Nationals,  Seth Roberts lead the offense with two triples, a double and a single. Lucas Saucier and Cruz Simpson each had a double and two singles. Jameson Watson and Cooper Potts  each had a double and a single.  For the Mariners. Cameron Campbell had a homerun, a double and a single.  Lee Williams and Luke Jacobson had doubles.

6/4/21   Pirates 4 - Bluejays 2   The Pirate even their record against the Bluejays with a 4-2 win.  For the Pirates, Ben Bush had a triple and a single. Talyn Moberly added a double and a single.  Brady Fleischer and Kohen McMullen had base hits,  For the Bluejays, Owen Turley had a  double Kyser Moore, Brooks Warren(2), Bodie Murphy and Luke Hagan had base hits.

6/1/21 Nationals 11 - Whitesoxs 6   The Nationals stayed undefeated with a 11-6 win over the Whitesoxs.  For the Nationals,  Seth Roberts had a triple and two singles. Lucas Saucier and Ethan Hodges each had a double and a single.  Cruz Simpson had a triple and a single. Cooper Potts,(2) Gage Meade and Jamieson Watson had doubles. For the Whitesoxs, Brantley Wise had a homerun, triple and a double. Pete Crowder had a double and a single. Owen Lindane, Jamieson Human, Jackson Ashy and Easton Craig had base hits.

5/27/21 Nationals 17 - Whitesoxs 3 The badge shined bright under the lights on the big field as the Nationals rolled past the Whitesoxs 17-3. For the Nationals,  Crux Simpson had a homerun. Seth Roberts and Cooper Potts had triples.  For the Whitesoxs, Owen Lindane had a triple.

5/27/21   Bluejays 9 - Pirates  1   The Bluejays were back in the win column with 9-1  score against the Pirates.  Gavin Fox had a homerun and a single. 5/24/21  Giants 8 - Mariners 1  The Giants had a four run fourth inning on their way to a 8-1 win over the Mariners.   For the Giants, Levi Moore had a homerun, a double and a single. Sawyer Dennison(3), Wyatt Husband, Parker Philpot, Ace Escobedo, Xander Torres and Corbin Brown had base hits.  For the Mariners,  Lee Williams had a homerun and a triple.  Max Redecker and Ethan Jacobson had base hits.

5/22/21  Whitesoxs 8  -  Cubs 7  The Whitesoxs edged the Cubs as Brant Wise hit an inside the park 2 run walk off homerun in the  sixth inning for the win. For the Whitesoxs, Owen Lindane had a triple.  For the Cubs,  Adams Griffin had a triple.

5/20/21   Whitesoxs 4 - Twins 3  The Whites held off a late rally by the Twins to win 4-3.   For the Whitesoxs, Brant Wise had a double Owen Lindane had a base hit.  For the Twins, Cooper Berry and Henry baker had doubles.

5/19/21   Pirates 11- Mariners 10.  Being down 10-6 in the bottom of the sixth inning, the Pirates scored five times to beat the Mariners 11-10 on Gavin Schneble base hit.  For the Pirates,  Ben Bush and Talyn Moberly each had a double and two singles. Hudson Heid added a double Brady Fleischer, Noah Houchens(3), Will Gardner, Gavin Schneble(2), Trey Edmonds, Clark Townsend and Kohen McMullen.  For the Mariners, Beckett Bramlage-Schomburg had two doubles and single.. Lee Williams and Kairo Ball each had a double and two singles.    Ethan Jacobson,and  Max  Redecker had base hits., Wells Whitaker each had a double and a single.

5/17/21  Nationals 6 - Cubs 3. The Nationals ran their record  to 10-0  with a 6-3 win over the Cubs. 5/15/21  Bluejays 14 - Whitesoxs  9  The scoreboard stayed busy as the Bluejays came out on top against the Whitesoxs 14-9.  For the Bluejays, Kyser Moore(2), Owen Turley, Joel Denny and.Gavin Boyd had doubles.  For the Whitesoxs, Brantley Wise  and Pete Crowder had a triple and a double. Owen Lindane added a double.

5/15/21  Twins 4 - Mariners 3   A three run third  inning was enough for the Twins to edge the Mariners 4-3. For the Twins, Colton Abel had a triple.  For the Mariners, Lee Williams had a base hit

5/14/21   Giants 9 - Cubs 4  The Giants put three runs  up in three different innings to beat the Cubs 9-4. For the Giants, Levi Moore had a home run and a single.  Wyatt  Husband had a triple and double. Bodee Blevins had a triple and a double among his three hits.  Corbin Brown and Xander Torres had base hits.  For the Cubs, Nick Pedigo had a home run. Evan Fisher had a double and a single. Jase Knoth had a triple.

5/7/21   Giants 14 - Whitesoxs 12   The Giants needed eight innings to beat the Whitesoxs 14-12.  For the Giants, Levi Moore had a triple , double and two singles.Bodee Blevins had a home run and a double.. Wyatt Husband and Parker Philpot had doubles.   For the Whitesoxs,  Brantley Wise had two homeuns and a double among his four hits. Easton Craig had a double. Owen Lindauer had four hits

5/6/21  Whitesoxs 6 Pirates 5   The Whitesoxs Lee Hamilton had the game winning hit in the bottom of the sixth inning to beat the Pirates 6-5.  For the Whitesoxs, Jamieson Human, Carson Bolton and Carson Rimmer each had two hits.  For the Pirates, Ben Bush and Gavin Schneble both had inside the park homeruns. Noah Houchens had three hits.

5/5/21  Bluejays 10 -  Twins 4   A big  five run second inning helped the Bluejays to 10-4 win over the Twins.  For the Bluejays Kyser Moore had a double and a single..  Owen Turley(2), Brooks Warren(3), Gavin Fox(3), Juan Graves, Joel Denny(2), Sutton Elkins,Ben Sabatowski and Luke Hogan had base hits. 5/3/21  Nationals 5 - Bluejays 2 The Nationals remained undefeated by beating the Bluejays  5-2.  For the Nationals,  For the Nationals, Seth Roberts(2), Cooper Potts, AJ Weeks, Brady Grey  and Cruz Simpson had ,hits.  For the Bluejays, Conner Trippett(2), Brooks Warren Sutton Elkins and Bodie Murphy had base hits.  Owen Turley added a double.

5/2/21  Pirates 10 - Cubs 3.  The Pirates scored four runs in the fifth inning to seal a 10-3 win over the Cubs.  For the  Pirates,  ben Bush had two homeruns and a single.  seth Tiu  had a triple and two singles.  Brady Fleischer(2), Noah Houichens(2), Talyn Moberly(2), Hudson Heid, and Will gardner(3) had base hits.  Trey Edmonds added a triple.  Gavin Schneble had a double and a single. 5/2/21   Whitesoxs  6 - Tigers 3  The Whitesoxs defeated the Tigers 6-3 to start the Sunday afternoon of games. For the Whitesoxs, Pete Crowder, Lee hamilton, Brantley Wise had doubles.  For the Tigers, Ricky Neuner andLevi Neuner had doubles.

4/30/21   Nationals 4 - Mariners 3   The top two teams squared off as the Nationals held off a late rally by the Mariners to edge them 4-3.  For the Nationals, Seth Roberts had a triple and single.  Lucas Saucier had a double and a single. Ethan Hodges added  a triple. Jett Simpson(2) and Cruz Simpson  had base hits.   For the Mariners,  Lee Williams had a home run and a single Luke Jacobson had a triple, double, and a single. Kairo Ball added a double Ethan Jacobson had a base hit.

4/27/21  Giants 9 - Twins 8    The Giants held off a late rally by the Twins to win 9-8.  For the Giants, Levi Moore(2), Corbin Brown and Parker Philpot  had doubles. Sawyer Dennison, Wyatt Husband(2), Xander Torres(2) had base hits.  For the Twins Liam Williams had a triple and a single Wyatt Burckardt had two doubles and a single. Henry Baker(3), Cooper Berry,  Colt Ritchie, james Bolin(2), Dean Corn(2) and Colton Abel had base hits.

4/26/21  Bluejays 7 -  Tigers 4  The Bluejays scored five runs in  the bottom of the fourth inning to beat the Tigers  7-4.  For the Bluejays, Joel Denny, Gavin Fox, Connor Trippett and  Gavin Boyd had  triples.  For the Tigers,  Jamieson Flanagan had a triple and  Carter Dees had a double.

4/25/21  Mariners 8 - Pirates 1  The Mariners jumped out to an early  3-0 lead early and never looked back to beat the Pirates 8-1.  For The Mariners, Kairo Ball had a double and a single. Lee Williams(2), Luke Jacobson(2), Ethan Jacobson, Max Reducer, Cameron Campbell(2) and Harry Buckley  had base hits. Wells Whitaker added a double For the Pirates, Seth Tiu had a double and scored the only run. Gavin Schneble, Kohen McMullen and  Talyn Moberly each had a base hit.

4/25/21  Twins 10 - Whitesoxs 1   The Twins scored in every inning as  they defeated the Whitesoxs 10-1.  For the Twins, Wyatt Burckardt had a big day at the plate with two doubles and two singles.  Liam Williams added a triple. Colt Ritchie Had a double and three singles. Cooper Berry, Colton Abel(2),Landon Stewart(3) and James Bolin had base hits.  For the Whitesoxs, Owen Lindane and Brantley Wise, Nolan Withrow, Jamieson Watson, Wiley Curran, and Easton Craig, Ryan Curran(2) had base hits.

4/24/21  Giants  8 - Tigers 4 .  The rain shortened the game as the Giants prevailed over the Tigers 8-5 in four innings.  For the Giants, Wyatt Husband had a triple and a double Parker Philpot and Corbin Brown had doubles.  For the Tigers, Ricky Neuner and James Flanagan had triples. Walker Bradley added a double.

4/24/21  Mariners 14 -  Bluejays 9   The Mariners needed eight innings to beat the Bluejays 14-9.   For the Mariners, Lee Williams had a triple and two singles.  Kairo Ball(3), Luke Jacobson(2),Beckett Bramlage-Schomburg (3), Ethan Jacobson, Max Redecker,Cameron Campbell, Jude Kennedy , Wells Whitaker and Grant Jacobson had base hits.  Dylan Henson had a double  For the Bluejays, Kyser Moore had a triple two doubles and single. Oliver Abell had a base hit.  For the Pirates, Will Gardner had a triple and a single. Seth Tiu had a double and a single Talyn Moberly added a double. 4/20/21  Whitesoxs 8 - Cubs 4   The Whitesoxs, Brantley Wise hit his second home run out to help beat the Cubs 8-4.  For the Whitesoxs, Owen Lindauer had a double. For the Cubs, Nick Pedigo had a double and a single Adams Griffin had a base hit. Lucas Via added a double.

Liam Williams, Colt Abel, Henry Thompson(2) had base hits.  For the Tigers, James Flanagan had a homerun and a single. Ricky Neuner, Carter Dees, Micah Nimmo, and Devine Lochlan had base hits.

4/15/21   Pirates 7 - Twins 5   The Pirates rally from 5-0 deficit to beat the Twins 7-5. For the Pirates, Ben Bush had a home run. Brady Fleischer added a double Talyn Mober;ly had a triple.  For the Twins Henry Baker had a double Liam Williams, Wyatt Burckardt, Sawyer Lye, Cooper Berry and  Dean Corn had singles.

4/15/21  Cubs 8 - Bluejays 3   The Cubs defeated Bluejays  8-3. score could be debatable  For the Cubs,  Nick Pedigo had two homeruns. Jase Knoth and Hudson Wehr had doubles.  For the Bluejays, Kyzer Moore had a triple and a single Connor Trippett, Ben  Saratowksy and Sutton Elkins had singles.

4/14/21  Nationals  3  -  Giants 2   Law and order was back in town as the Nationals needed an extra inning to beat the Giants 3-2 on Cooper Potts double in the seventh inning.  For the Nationals, Seth Roberts had two triples and a single Cruz Simpson, Gage Meade, Decklan Schaefer and Conley Blakemore had base hits. For the Giants,  Levi Moore had a triple.  Easton  Rodgers, Wyatt Husband and Xander Torres had base hits.

4/13/21   Mariners 3 - Whitesoxs 2   The Mariners edge the Whitesoxs  3-2 in  their opener.  For the Mariners, Kairo Ball had a home run and a single  Ethan Jacobson had two singles.  For the Whitesoxs,  Brantley Wise hit a homerun over the leftfield fence in the fifth inning.  Carson Rimmer had a base hit.
