Baseball State Tournament

Sunday Games 
At Walsh Park in LaGrange with great weather the Baseball State Tournament concluded as the final two state championships were decided.  In the 10 Year Old division, North Oldham scored in every inning to beat Eastern 14-2.   For North Oldham, Ty Bryant had a big day on the mound and at the plate.  Getting the win on the hill , he allowed 2 runs, 4 hits and three strikeouts. At the plate he had four hits   Sam Lye had a double. Matt Withrow(3), Keaton Neuner(2), Kaleb Simpson(2),Aiden Newkirk(2) and Porter Salisbury had base hits.  For Eastern, Jack Fletcher had a double.  Blake Lambert, John Cooper Sawyer and Dylan Dixon had base hits.

In the 12 Year old division, North Oldham captured the State championship by winning both games against Eastern 7-6 in the first game and won 7-3 in the final game.  In the first game, Eastern took an early 1-0 lead in the first inning and North Oldham responded with four runs in the first and three in the second inning to take a 7-1 lead.  Ethan Mais had two homeruns in first two at bats.  For North Oldham, Logan Edsell had a double and a single. Nash Meredith, Ty Westerman, Derek Dees, Jude Dattilo and Ryan Giles had base hits.  Joe Siderewicz picked up the win and received relief helped from Jude Dattilo.   For Eastern, Hudson Cole had a homerun and a double. Parker Mays had a double and two singles. Braydon Turner added a double.  Jackson Stephan, Max Thayer and Tripp Winton had base hits.   In the finals, North Oldham scored six runs in the fifth inning as they won 7-3 for the Championship. For North Oldham,  Logan Edsell had a triple.Ryan Giles, Joe Siderewicz, Ethan Mais and Joe Walters had doubles. Ty Westerman, Nash Meredith and Ethan Mais had base hits.  Will Hinkle picked up the win with two innings of work allowing no hits and one run.  Ryan Giles pitched the sixth inning in getting the save.

Thank you to all North Oldham Little League  Volunteers that helped  with the state tournament over the past two weekends hand having a successful tournament.  We hope every team and their fans had a great experience at this tournament and hopefully we will back to normal next year as the state tournament  is at Bowling Green.

Saturday Games at Walsh Park
At Walsh Park in LaGrange, we had great weather for baseball games as the 11  year old  Division state championship was decided and in the 12’s and 10’s divisions the winners  clinched a spot in the championship. 

                In the 11  year old division  Eastern Little League  claimed the Kentucky state championship by beating Warren County North  12-1.   For Eastern, Jack Wedding had three doubles and a single.   Coen Lynch and Nash Whelan had doubles. Jeremiah Turner had a triple.  Pitcher Connor Harris allowed one run, three hits and had four strikeouts in getting the win. For Warren County North Sam Tunks had a homerun in the fifth inning.  Rhett Young had two hits.

                In the 12 Year old division, North Oldham rallied back from 5-2 deficit to tie the game in the sixth inning 5-5 on Jude Dattilo 3 run triple and then  Ryan Giles had a base hit  in the seventh  to beat Bowling Green East 6-5 to advance to the Championship game on Sunday.  For North Oldham, Nash Meredith, Derek Dees  and Andrew Dawson had base hits. Joe Walters pitched four strong innings allowing just one run and four strike outs. Andrew Dawson picked up the win.  For Bowling Green East, Lincoln Fowler had a pair of doubles. Griff Veazey had a double and a single.  Jackson Lee had two singles.  Drew Pierce, Landon Gilbert, Blake Richey and Christopher Cohron all had base hits.

                In the 10 Year Old Division, Eastern overcame being down 11-0 to beat Bowling Green East 17-14. For Eastern,  Blake Lambert(3), Brayden Brand had base hits.  Cooper Dickerson and Luke Cravens each had a triple and a single. Jack Fletcher(2)and  Andrew Bickley added doubles.  For Bowling Green East, Colt Isenberg(3)Leron Gilley, Jett Reynolds and Wilson Moran had base hits.

Friday games at Walsh Park

The Little League State Tournament resumed Friday night with great weather and some exciting games.  In the 12 year Old Division, in the first game Eastern defeated North Oldham 5-1.  For Eastern, Brayden Tudor and Parker Mays each had a double. Parker Crisp had a triple.   Jackson Stephan had a triple, a double and a single.  For North Oldham, Ethan Mais had a double.  Nash Meredith(2), Jude Dattilo, Logan Edsell, and Ty Westerman had base hits.  In the second game, Bowling Green East knocked off Corbin 18-8. For Bowling Green East, Jackson Lee(2), Lincoln Fowler,  Chris Cohron and Logan Johnson had doubles. Embree Dotson added a triple.

                In the 11 Year Old division, Warren County North held off a late rally by North Oldham to win 2-1 and advanced to the championship game, For Warren County North, Rhett Bullock and Weston Akins had base hits.  For North Oldham, Carsen Becker had a triple. Jayson Ruffin and Mason O’Dwyer each had a base hit.

                In the 10 Year Old Division, Bowling Green East defeated Corbin 19-5.  For Bowling Green East, Leron Gilley had a triple, a double and two singles. Henry Phillips and Wilson Moran(2) had doubles..  Lincoln Thorpe Jeff Reynolds each added a triple. For Corbin, Eli Maynes(2), Braydon Carroll and Jackson Marlowe had doubles.  In the night cap North Oldham scored eight runs in the sixth inning as they beat Eastern 15-13.  For North Oldham, Matt Withrow and Vallon Moore had doubles. Sam Lye(2), Ty Bryant(2), Jack Sabens, Eli DePugh and Keaton Neuner had base hits.  For Eastern, John Cooper Sawyer, Aiden Hamilton, Judd Vieth and Blake Lambert had doubles. Andre Bickley, Taylor Assarsmith, Cooper Dickerson(2) Jake Fletcher and Andrew Jenkins had base hits.

           With another great day of weather at Walsh Park in LaGrange the baseball had some great games on Sunday and the state tournament will resume on Friday.
In the 12 Year Old Division, Bowling Green East blanked Wahington County 19-0.  For Bowling Green East< Logan Johnson had ,a grand slam in the fourth unning.  Embree Dotson
and Blake Richey each had three hits.  In the second game Corbin  needed an extra inning to edge Prestonburg 1-0.  For Corbin, Kaiden Freeman, Lukef Hatfield, Hunter Todd, Trey Person,and Levi Brock had base hits. Pitchers JD Davenpart, Landon Rose, and Jamison West combined for seven shutout innings and 8 strikeouts.  For Prestonsburg, Luke Fugate, Luke Hall and Max Bingham had base hits.  Luke Hall pitched six shutout innings with 8 strikeouts.
In the 11 Year Old Division Eastern scored six times in the third inning as they defeated North Oldham 9-1. For Eastern, Nate Coen, Jack Wedding and  Ashton Plunger had  doubles. For North Oldham, MJ Wirth had a double, In the second game, Warren County North shutout Corbin 14-0. For Warren County North, Briggs Young and Weston Akins had doubles. Giddeon Robbins added a triple. Kyle Sledge had 10 strikeouts allowed no hits.
In the 10 Year Old Division, Bowling Green East held off a late rally by Adair County to win 12-9.  For Bowling Green East, Leron Gilley Had a triple and a double. Jax Runner added a double. Colt Isenberg had a base hit.  For Adair County, Branson Minton Kip Dial, Zane Greer, Kaden Burton and Ty Burwash had base hits. In the second game Corbin jumped out to an early 6-0 lead in the first inning as they beat South Central 13-2.  For Corbin, Paul Viars, Easton Hendrickson, Brayden Carroll and Thatcher West each had a double. For South Central, Lucas Howar had a base hit.

It was another great day of weather at Walsh Park as Day 2 of the State Baseball Tournament was played .  In the 12 year old Division in the first game, Eastern defeated Prestonsburg 20-3. For Eastern, Jackson Stephan had a homerun and a single. Parker Mays. John Manner and Gabs Wright each had a double and two singles. Henry Morgan added a double. For Prestonsburg, Brody Napier and Luke Stratton had base hits.  In second game, North Oldham edged Bowling Green East 4-3 on Ethan Mais grand slam in the fifth inning.  For North Oldham, Ty Westerman had a double.  Andrew Dawson and Nash Meredith had base hits. For Bowling Green East, Chris Cohron had a double. Sam Holder, Blake Richey, Lincoln Folwer and Jackson Lee had base hits.
In the 11 year old Division, North Oldham held off a late rally by Warren County North to win 4-3.  For North Oldham, Jayson Ruffin had a triple.  Grant Goss had a double and a single. Logan Pott had a single.  For Warren County North Kyle Sledge(2), Rhett Bullock and  Brooks Vincent had singles.  Atlas Pinson added a triple. Colin Stevenson had a double. In the second game Corbin had a 10 run fifth inning to beat Prestonsburg 18-8.  For Corbin, CarsonTaylor and Malachi Zachary(2) had doubles. Landyn Walters and Brady Webb had triples. For Prestonsburg, Grant Clifton had a double.  Lila Fugate, Cruiz Clark(2) and Sam Hyden had base hits.
In the 10 Year Old Division, In the first game, North Oldham defeated South Central 16-1.  For North Oldham, Sam Lye had two doubles.  Ty Klingenberg and Vallon Moore had doubles.  Ty Klingenberg(3), Matt Withrow(3), Ty Bryant(2), Keaton Neuner(2) and Hudson Meredith had base hits.  In the second game Eastern knocked off Adair County 14-4.  For Eastern, Blake Lambert, Jack Fletcher(3),Cooper Dickerson(2) and Luke Cravens had singles.  Reed Graves had a triple and two singles. For Adair County,  Ty Burwash,Carsen Darnell, Kip Dial and Jay Harmon had doubles.

With a cool breezy night the 2020 Little League baseball State Tournament got underway at Walsh Park in LaGrange.

In the 12 year old division in the first game  Eastern shutout Washington County 10-0 behind the strong pitching from Parker Mays and  Tucker Williams. For Eastern, Jackson Stephan, Gabe Wright, John Luke Minner and Parker Crisp had doub;les. For Washington County, Gabe Wies haad a base hit.In the Nightcap North Oldham  came back on Corbin to win 14-5. For North Oldham Joe Walters had a triple.  Logan Edsell adda a double. Ty Westermanhad two hits.   For Corbin, Trey Person hit a three run homerun in the first inning.  Landon Rose had two hits.

In the 11 year Old Division,   North Oldham blanked Prestonsburg 13-0.  For North Oldham, Cooper Collins had a triple and a single.  MJ Wirth(2), Grant Goss and Logan Potts had doubles.  For Prestonsburg, Colin Hatfield had a base hit. In the second game, Eastern stopped Corbin 6-3.For Eastern, Jeremiah Turner had a triple and a double. Baird Woodalland Leo Gounce each  had a double.  For Corbin Malachi Zachery had Hit a three run homerun in the first inning.

In the 10 Year Old Division, North Oldham   defeated Bowling Green East  9-2.  For North Oldham, Ty Klingenberg had three hits. Porter Salisbury added a double. For Bowling Green East, Colt Isenberg and Luke Usinger had base hits. In the Second game, Eastern shutout Corbin 10-0.  For Eastern Luke Cravens had two triples and John Cooper Sawyer had  one triple. Andrew Jenkins added a double.  For Corbin, Bret Estep had a double.

9/5/20 The final district all-star game was played on Saturday  at Walsh park as North Oldham Navy  lost to South Oldham 24-16 in the Machine pitch  Championship.  For South Oldham, Laiken Miles had a triple. Reese Travis(2) Caroline Henry and Maddie Yarva had doubles.  For North Oldham, Olivia Catalano had a triple and a double.  Raygen Clubb added a double.

North Oldham Little League had 6 districts Champions  With three  in Baseball 10's, 11's & 12's  that will play in the state tournament that our league will host at Walsh Park  on the weekends of September 18 & 25. The other is in Softball with three teams heading to Prestonsburg on Spetember 18.   Our  8 year old  Navy team that was runner-up will be playing in coach-pitch state tournament in Richmond on September 18th.

9/4/20

We had great weather for ball games at Walsh Park Friday night as some district championship was decided.  The baseball 12's took the district title and punched their ticket to the state tournament as they shutout South Oldham 10-0.  For the 12's, Nash Meredith allowed two hits and had seven strikeouts.  Logan Edsell(3), Joe Siderewicz, Joe Walters,  Derek Dees, Isaac Abney, and Tanner Simpson had base hits.  Nash Meredith had a triple.  ANdrew Dawson had a double. 

In Machine PitchSoftball, the young ladies fell to South Oldham 18-10.  and will play South Oldham again for the championship today at 11am. 

Over at South Oldham the North Oldham  10 navy won the district title as they shut out the South Oldham 19-0 behinf the pitching of Ty Bryant and Keaton Neuner.  For North Oldham, Sam Lye(2) and Porter Salisbury had doubles.   The 8's fell in the Championship to South Oldham 13-5. 

9/3/20    

After Wednesday night and early Thursday morning rain at Walsh Park, the fields were ready to go for a couple of All-star games.  In Machine Pitch Softball, the Gold team saw their season cometo an end as they lost to SOuth Oldham 22-7.  For the Gold Team, Reagan Shea Salyer, Ella Wisdom and Gianna Lay each had two hits.  In 12 year Old baseball,  South Oldham defeated Owen County 14-0.

 Over at South Oldham, the 10 Gold team fell to South 13-3.  In Machine Pitch, The Navy team advanced to the championship game beat our White team 11-1 and our Gold team lost to South Oldham 14-0.

After early morning down pours the fields at Walsh Park were ready for games on Wednesday as the rain stayed away for the evening.   In machine pitch Softball, North Oldham Navy stopped South Oldham 19-13. For North Oldham Navy, Isabelle Kraus had a triple. Alyssa Lamkin, Kate Grady and Alex Summa had doubles. Raygen Clubb had four hits.  Frances Lay and Ryne Hunsaker each had three hits.

In the baseball divisions, in 11-12 Division North Oldham defeated Souith Oldham 8-2.  For North Oldham, Ethan Mais had a homerun.  Nash Meredith had a double.  Will Hinkle, Derek Dees, Logan Edsell, Ty Westerman and Andrew Dawson had base hits.

                In Machine Pitch, the Navy team won two games 10-0. In the first game against Owen County, Casey Mais, Jackson Edgar, Brady Bottorff and Dawson Burckardt had doubles.  In the second game against Valley Sports. John Esterly had a big night at the plate with a homerun, a triple and a double.  Max West had a homerun.  Brady Noe, Jackson Edgar, Brady Bottorff and Nathan Hoffman added doubles.  North Oldham White defeated Owen County 17-7.  Kairo Ball, Lee Williams and Brady Fleischer each had three hits. Owen Lindauer, Kyser Moore and Lucas Via had two hits.  Brantley Wise, Seth Roberts and Nick Pedigo added doubles.  At South Oldham the Gold team was shutout 15-0.

                At South Oldham the 10 year old Navy  stopped South Oldham 5-1. Matt Withrow had a double. Ty Bryant had two hits.

Rain stayed away at Walsh Park on Tuesday as all-star games were played. In Baseball machine pitch, North Oldham White knocked off North Oldham Gold 18-8. For the White team, Levi Moore, Seth Roberts and Nick Pedigo had triples. Kairo ball(2) Sawyer Lye, Owen Lindauer, Brady Fleischer and Lucas Via added doubles.Lee Williams had two hits. For the Gold team, Justice Greer(2), Eli Gathof, and Will haysley had doubles. In machine pitch softball the Gold fell to South Oldham 21-11. Over at South Oldham the 10 Gold baseball lost to South 19-4.

 At Walsh park on Monday a busy crowd was on hand for all-star games as the sun came out at game time. In the Softball machine Pitch, North Oldham Navy defeated North Oldham Gold 25-10.  For Navy, Frances Lay had a homerun.  Reagan Clubb(2), Alex Summa, Olivia Catalano, Hadley Goss, Isabelle Kraus, Kayla DaSilva and Charlotte Dehner had doubles.  For the Gold Team, Sydney Collins had a triple. Amaiya Jackson(2), Charlee Hopkins, Reagan Shea Salyer and Sloane Flanagan had doubles.                                 

                In the 12 Year Old Baseball Division, North Oldham shutout South Oldham 8-0. For North Oldham, Ethan Mais had a homerun and a triple.  Nash Meredith had a double. Joe Siderewicz had a base hit.  In Machine pitch, North Oldham Navy knocked off North Oldham White 18-3.   For Navy, Max West and Jackson Edgar had triples.  Casey Mais, Tucker Way, John Esterly and Brady Bottorff had doubles.                 Over at South Oldham the 10 year old  Navy Team  defeated South Oldham 10-2.  TY Bryant, Aiden Newkirk and Keaton Neuner had doubles.

In the 10year old National softball All-starsn Navy defeated the Gold team 26-5 to win the district title and will be heading to Prestonsburg for the state tournament. For the navy team, Liz Lay had a triple and three singles. Laken Nimmo had two doubles and a single. Laken Baker had a double. Kayla Cartledge(4), Helene Hinkle(3) and Reagan Haysley(3) had multiple hits. For the Gold team, Gracie Husband(2), Lauren Giles and Emery West had base hits. In Machine Pitch softball the North Oldham Navy defeated South Oldham 16-13. In baseball machine Pitch, the white team fell to South Oldham 10-9 in the bottom of the sixth inning. For North Oldham, Owen Lindauer had a double. Seth Roberts had three hits. Lee Williams, Brantley Wise, Nick Pedigo, Ben Bush, Lucas Via each had two hits. The Navy team took on the gold team and won 17-10. Despite some rain and lightning delays Friday night at Walsh Park we was able to complete the Major Softball season as the Outlaws claimed the championship 9-0. In the Semi-Finals, the Magic defeated the Wolverines 7-3 with a five run third inning to advance to the championship game. In the Championship game the Outlaws took the Championship with 9-0 shutout over the Magic behind the pitching of Sophia Lay and Kailyn Claybern.

With the last championship being decided the 2020 regular season came to a close. It wasn't a year everyone wanted but we managed to get a season in despite some bumps along the way and thank you for your patience. We hope everyone had good season and will be looking forward to the 2021 season. We want to thank all the volunteers from managers, coaches, scorekeepers, team parents and the ones that helped with clean-up duty every night after the games despite some late nights.

With every season we welcomed new families to our league and we say goodbye to families that their child played their last season at North Oldham Little League. We are glad to have you and your family being part of North Oldham Little league.

We move on to All-Stars with district games starting next week and state tournament in September. Sorry we didn't have fall ball.

We are looking forward to a better 2021 season as Sign-ups will start in January and hope to see you there.

8/15/20  

With great weather Walsh Park was busy Saturday morning as three baseball championships was decided.    In Major Baseball, the Twins claimed the championship defeated the Astros behind the pitching of Logan Edsell and Levi Keck.   In Minor Baseball, the Rockies took care of the Padres winning 16-5 against the Padres from the bats of Aiden Newkirk, Lucas Young and Sam McCall.   In Rookie Baseball, the championship went an extra inning  as the Redsoxs record stayed perfect 15-0 with a 12-11 win over the Phillies as Levi Withrow had the game winning double.

8/13/20   It was a great and busy night at Walsh park on Thursday as the Baseball Divisions had  their Semi-Finals and  we had alot of  great games.  In Major Baseball, the Astros stopped the league leader Cardinals 8-2. In the night cap The Twins  Jow Walters strong pitching helped edged the Yankees 4-3.   In Minor Baseball, the Padres rally back on the top seed Indians to win 10-8.  In the second game, the Rockies topped the Cubs as Tony Sutton knocked in CC Cooper with game winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning to win 6-5 over the CUbs.   In Rookie Baseball,  the Redsoxs remained perfect as they stopped  the Giants 9-7. The Philies Talyn Moberly had the game winning hit scoring Kane Isable  with the winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning to beat the Royals 10-9.

All baseball championships are on Saturday at 10:00am  All-Stars trophy presentations will be after the games.

8/12/20   It was a hot night at the ballfield on Wednesday night  at Walsh Park as the second league championship was decided .  In Minor Softball, Cyclones defeated  Dynamites 12-10  with help of Kayla Cartledge two run homerun in the first innings and was the winning pitcher in releif and the pitching from Laken Nimmo who had  8 strikeouts in 3 innings of work..  In Rookie Baseball, the tournament top two seeds took to the field as the Redsoxs held off the Rangers 9-6 and the Phillies  took care of the Tigers 18-3.

8/11/20   Rookie Baseball was the only games at Walsh Park on Tuesday night as the Rookie Baseball started their league tournament.  On Field #4 the Rangers knocked out the Pirates 14-6. On Field #5 the  the Tigers defeated the Brewers 12-5.  On the Field #3  the Royals edged the Whitesoxs 14-13 and the Giants stopped the D-Backs 12-6,

8/10/20   After some rainstorms in the morning and at noon the fields at Walsh Park  were ready to go at game time for some exciting games with playoff games in softball and the regular season season ending in the baseball division.  In Major Baseball, the Yankees took care of the Cardinals 15-4 and the Nationals knocked off the Atros 7-5.  In Minor Baseball, the Indians knocked off the Mets 8-2.  In the nightcap the Rockies topped the Orioles 7-4.  In Minor Softball, the Semi-Finals  got underway as the Cyclone beat the Scorpions 19-1 and the Dynamites took care of the Warriors 15-4.  In Rookie Baseball, the Tigers took down the Phillies 4-3. In Rookie Softball, the Championship game was decided as the Outlaws finished their perfect season  winning 17-13.

8/8/20   The final Saturday  of the regulaexciting  season was busy with great weather, exciting  finishes, big blasts, some familar faces returns, and sometimes the ball goes the right way ,the little guys and gals picked up some hardware  and  beginning of the playoffs.   In Major Baseball, the Twins took care of the Braves 8-4 and in the second game the Rays  Weston ball had the game winning hit to beat the Dodgers 9-8.  In Minor Baseball, the  Cubs took care of the Marlins  winning 18-6.  The Padres  defeated the Reds 13-5. 

In Rookie Baseball, the Redsoxs survived a scare by winning 8-7  over the Royals to finish  12-0 for the Regular season as  Brady Noe had the game winning hit knocking in Kairo Ball.  The Giants defeated th Brewers 13-5. in the final game the Whitesoxs edged the Rangers 14-13. For the Rangers  Jackson Edgar hit his first homerun over the fence with a blast in the fouth inning over the left field fence.  Rookie Softball tournament Semi-Finals got undery way as the top seed Outlaws defeated the Rampage 20-11 and the Falcons edged the Hornets 13-12.

In Coach Pitch  the Tin Caps Easton Craig hit his second homerun over the fence.  Coach Pitch and T-Ball finished off their season and picked up their trophies and hope everyone  had a great season  and it may go better next.

It was good to seeing The McElfresh family  Justin, Carrie, Collin and Brennan in for a visit

8/6/20   It was another great  night of weather for ball games at Walsh Park Thursday night as the regular season is coming to an end.  Coach Pitch and T-Ball teams started picking up their hardware as some teams completed their season. we hope you had a great one.  There was plenty of exciting games  last night. In Major Baseball, the Astros Joe Siderewicz grand slam highlighted 19-5 win over the Braves.   In Major Softball the Magic took two games from the Wolverines 9-5 and 17-7.  In Minor baseball, the Cubs defeated the Marlins 20-1.  In Rookie Baseball, the Giants beat the Pirates 9-5. 8/1/20 Despite some rain Friday night and early S aturday Morning the fields some way some how were ready to go  for a full slate of games on Saturday with some exciting moments.  In Major Baseball, the Rays overcame 13-0 score and scored eight runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to beat the Nationals 14-13.  In second game, the Astros edged the Braves 7-6.  In Major Softball, Magic's  Madi Stough had a good day at the plate with a homerun and a double in a 6-1  over the Wolverines.   In Minor Baseball, the Reds fell to Rockies 7-1 and the Padres knocked off the Orioles 14-5.   In Minor Softball, the Lady Dynamites  ended Saturday afternoon with 18-11 win over the Warriors.  In Rookie Baseball, the Redsoxs remained undefeated as they escaped  with a 6-5 win on Seth Roberts game winning hit in the bottom of the sixth inning over the Giants.   D-Back out man the Tigers, the Brewers knocked off the Rangers  6-4  and the Whitesoxs rolled past the Pirates 18-4.   In Rookie Softball, the Falcons came out on top against the Hornets 16-13.

7/21/20   There was a bullseye on Walsh Park Tuesday Night as a down pour of rain stopped  the 7pm games. 7/9/20  Thursday night was a great night of baseball and softball at Walsh Park with three of the five games was decided by one run.  In Major Baseball, the Cardinals, Ethan Mais hit his first homerun out as they defeated the Nationals 13-4.   In Major Softball, the Outlaws held off a late rally by the Wolverines to win 6-5.   In Minor Baseball, the Rockies Ty Bryant had a game winning 2 run double in the bottom of the sixth inning to beat the Mets 6-5.   In Rookie Baseball,  A pair of unbeatens met with the Redsoxs coming out on top over the Royals 6-3.   In Rookie Softball, the Outlaws Ryne Hunsaker knocked in the winning run for 6-5 win over the Royals.   Visit our website for game summaries of last night games.   Parents please wear your masks at the ballfield tonight.

7/8/20   On Wednesday night the storms stayed away from Walsh Park and games were completed with some exciting games. In Major Baseball, the Twins Joe Walters hit the first homerun of the season to lead the Twins to 10-4 win over the Rays. In Minor Baseball, the Reds edged the Marlins 13-12. In Minor Softball, the Cyclones blanked the Scorpions 16-0. In Rookie Baseball, the Rangers scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to top the Whitesoxs 10-9. In the completion game from this past Monday night the D-Backs Pete Crowder had the game winning hit as the D-Backs defeated the Pirates 7-6. Visit our website for game highlights of each game.

7/7/20          It was a hot and busy Tuesday night at Walsh Park with a full slate of game with doubleheaders.  In Major Baseball,  Clayton Dawson was a proud little brother after the game as big brother Andrew Dawson scored the winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning as the Yankees clipped the Astros 3-2 in a game between unbeatens in the night cap. In the first game the Dodgers edge the Braves 7-6.  In Major Softball, the Outlaws defeated the Magic 9-5.  
        In Minor baseball, the Cubs took care of the Padres 16-7 and the Indians topped the Orioles 16-2.  In Minor Softball, the Dynamites defeated the the Warriors 16-12.  In Rookie Baseball, the Giants took down the Brewers 9-3.  In Rookie Softball, the Hornets defeated the Rampage 13-7.    Visit our website for game highlights.    State tournament planning meeting this Sunday at 8:00pm at Walsh Park

7/6/20  A downpour stopped Monday Night games   But was able complete one of the Rookie Baseball games.  The Phillies blanked the Tigers 7-0.  

7/4/20   At Walsh Park on this Fourth of July Saturday North Oldham Little finished off the first week of the season as the temperature is rising and the bats were busy.   In Major Baseball, the Astros rolled past the Rays by a score of 16-5.  The Yankees had both their pitching and batting working as they knocked off the Twin by a score of 10-1.  In Major Softball, the Outlaws needed an extra inning to edged the Magic 9-8.
    In Minor Baseball, the Reds defeated the Orioles 9-2 and the Indians beat the Marlins 16-5.  In Rookie Baseball, the Phillies beat the Rangers 15-4, the Whitesoxs defeated the Brewers by a score of 12-4, the Redsoxs topped the D-Backs 15-12.   The Royals beat the Tigers 12-1.  In Rookie softball, the Outlaws defeated the Hornets 21-18.   Visit our website for game highlights for each game.

7/3/20 It was a long busy night at Walsh Park Friday night with some high scoring games.   In Major Baseball, the Cardinals swept a double header from the Dodgers with scores of 11-6 and 11-10.  In the nightcap the Braves scored eleven runs in the fifth inning to beat the Nationals 17-12.  In Minor Baseball the Padres topped the Mets 10-8 and the Rockies held off the Cubs 7-6.   In Minor Softball, the Dynamites took care of the Scorpions 16-4 and the Cyclones won the night cap 18-1.  In Rookie Baseball the Giants defeated the Pirates 4-1.  Over on field #5 in Rookie Softball  the Falcons came out on top 14-12 over the Rampage.   Visit our website for game highlights of last night games.

7/2/20   At Walsh Park on Thursday it was a hot night at the field as every team finally has a game under their belt.   In Major Baseball, the Yankees pitching shut down the Twins 8-2.  In Major Softball, the Outlaws five run first inning was enough as they beat the Wolverines 5-3.  In Minor Baseball, the Indians Matt Withrow hit a a game winning inside the park homerun in the bottom of the sixth inning to beat the Marlins 5-4.   In Rookie Baseball, the Royals stopped the Phillies to win 8-5.  In Rookie Softball, the Hornets won the high scoring game over the Falcons 15-14.   Visit our website for game highlights of last night games at the link 2020 game highlights.
